We’re back—and better than ever.
Our first off-site retreat since before the pandemic was a resounding success, bringing together 56 members of our community for a restorative and thought-provoking weekend at the beautiful Edith Macy Center.
The weekend featured:
💬 A compelling presentation by Michelle Shubin and Sandy Silverman on navigating the impact of socio-political events in the therapeutic relationship.
🧘 A rich exploration of “Buddhism and Western Psychology” by Seth Zuihō Segal, complete with guided meditation and clinical vignettes.
🎶 A celebratory Saturday evening dinner that turned into a joyful dance party.
🌿 A serene outdoor meditation guided by Shannon Cruz-Herr to close the retreat.
We are deeply grateful to Gary Jacobson for envisioning this retreat, and to Dominika Mazurová, Mara Nellis, and Charles Sommer for making it a reality.
What this weekend confirmed for all of us: the power of gathering in person, reconnecting, and exploring the deep complexities of our work together.
